Open joint-stock company VIZAS Plant (OAO VIZAS) is assembling numerical-control milling machine tools for Russian nuclear industry companies, VIZAS’ First Deputy Director General Igor Kolokolchikov told BelTA.

“Our company has suggested special equipment to Russian partners — threading milling machine tools with numerical control. They are designed for specific tasks of the customers,” said the source. In late June VIZAS shipped two machine tools to Kovrov Mechanical Plant. A team of VIZAS specialists will go there soon for tuning and installation. Now the company is preparing four similar machine tools for Vladimir-based manufacturing association Tochmash.

VIZAS’ equipment allows boosting the effectiveness of parts processing by 100-200%, noted Igor Kolokolchikov.

VIZAS is the CIS only manufacturer of equipment used for grinding and making any cutting tools.
