Members of the school forestry club of Gorodok school No1 (the Vitebsk oblast) will represent Belarus at the 5th International Junior Forestry Contest in Moscow on September 16-20. The decision was taken at a session of the jury of the national junior forestry contest that considered two projects-contenders for the participation in the international junior forestry contest, BelTA learnt from Ruzhena Novitskaya, press secretary of the Forestry Ministry. The jury considered two projects of young foresters from the Vitebsk oblast who took the first and second places at the national contest: the project of Gorodok school No1 “Eco-compound of Vorobyevy Gory – Gorodok region treasury” and the project of the school forestry Sosenka in the village of Dretun, the Polotsk region, that focused on the examination of natural objects (springs) on the territory of the Dretun Forestry. The jury voted for the first project it is more profound and practical. |
